MASTER ELECTRICIANS: 1 Openings Available	Full time / Part time. ETC programming, hanging and focusing experience required. Competitive Salary, DOE.	December 1st through January 4th 2010.
ELECTRICIANS: 1 Openings Available	Time varies depending on production schedule. Experience in hanging and focusing theatrical lights required. ETC Experience a plus. Salary DOE.	December 5th, 6th & 7th 2010.
STITCHERS / CUTTERS: 1 Openings Available	Full time / Part time. Experience preferred. Salary is negotiable, DOE.	November 15th 2010 throughVDecember 10th 2010.
BOX OFFICE STAFF:: 4 Openings Available	F/T & P/T – Temp. Phone, counter, data entry, customer service. $10- $11/hr. DEO. Box Office experience preferred but it is not required, we will train.	November 23rd 2010 through as late as January 3rd 2011.
ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS: 1 Openings Available	Stipend is variable. Must be available for the rehearsals & run of the show. Mostly Evening work. Experience preferred but it is not required, we will train.	October 1st 2010 – January 2nd 2011
STAGE CREW, PROPS RUNNER: 4 Openings Available	Stipend is variable. Must be available for the run of the show. Experience preferred but it is not required, we will train.	December 9th 2010 – January 2nd 2011.
SPOT LIGHT OPERATORS: 1 Openings Available	All positions paid. Stipend variable. Must be available for the run of the show.	December 9th 2010 – January 3rd 2011
CARPENTERS/WELDERS/RIGGERS: 4 Openings Available	Full time / Part time. Theatrical carpentry, welding & rigging exp. preferred. Salary negotiable and competitive, DOE.	November 29th 2010 through December 10th 2010
SCENIC & PROPS INTERNS: 2 Openings Available	Stipend variable. Work with professional Theatrical Designers & Painters. Part time or full time:	November 15th 2010 through December 17th 2010.

Intern Program

About The Intern Program:
The Work-Experience Program at Cabrillo Stage offers theatre students and pre-professionals the chance to join the production staff in a work-experience-based program. In our program you can receive college credit with hands-on experience.Our interns put their skills learned in the classroom to use, working on a professional production, side-by-side with mentors and production staff members.

Internships are available in Production and Administrative departments. Members of the Cabrillo Stage production staff provide individual mentoring and training needed for the tasks at hand. Interns can receive written evaluations and/or recommendations, which can provide professional experience for a resume.

Eligibility & Compensation
Our program is intended for applicants of college age or older. Exceptional high school students will also be considered. We will expect professional work habits and a high level of commitment and responsibility from our interns. Students, recent graduates and career-changers with experience and enthusiasm should apply. Reimbursements for local transportation expenses are available for some production interns. We do not offer housing.

Dates & Times
Interns have variable days and hours depending on there involvement with the production. Here are a some general times that Interns work depending on the department in which they are working:

	Scenic & Paint Shop	Variable from Mondays - Fridays from 8am-5pm
	Administrative Assistant	Variable from Mondays - Fridays from 8am-5pm
	Production Crew	Variable from Wednesdays - Fridays from 5pm-11pm & Saturdays - Sundays from 1pm-11pm depending on Production Show Schedule.

Behind the Scenes/Backstage
Backstage Crew positions such as deck crew, props runner, follow spot operators, dressers, etc., involve a nightly schedule for 6-7 weeks during the tech period and run of the show. Our staff will train new volunteers who show a commitment to the rigorous schedule. Honorariums may be possible.

Building:
Sets, costumes, properties, and scenic arts departments operate during regular business hours. Mondays-Fridays 9:00am-5:00pm, usually six weeks before the opening of the show. Training time will be needed; you must be available for an ongoing basis during these hours to volunteer in the shops.
