Social Media Coordinator
Create text and photo content through out the summer for all social media platforms currently being used by Cabrillo Stage, including Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. Take photos of rehearsals, orchestra, directing team & special events. Work with Managing Director to establish tone and narative.
Electricians
Time varies depending on production schedule. Experience in hanging and focusing theatrical lights required. ETC Experience a plus.
Spot Light Operator / Electricians
Must be available for the technical rehearsals & run of the show. Mostly evening & weekend work. Operation of Follow Spot Lighting during all technical rehearsals, performances and installation and strike of lighting equipment.
Assistant Stage Manager
Must be available for all of the rehearsals, technical rehearsals & run of the shows. Mostly evening & weekend work. Experience preferred but it is not required, we will train. Work directly with Stage Manager, Directors & Actors on the build of each show.
Stage Hands / Props Runner
Must be available for the technical rehearsals & run of the shows. Mostly evening & weekend work. Theater experience preferred but it is not required, we will train.
Dressers
Work backstage with actors and stage hands in order to assist actors with quick changes and manage costumes during the run of the show. Experience preferred but it is not required, we will train.
Sound Board Operator / Engineer
Specific times vary depending on production schedule. Experience in live theatrical sound engineering and hands on experience with wireless microphones, large sound boards and related components required. Work with Sound Designer, Directors to execute and maintain sound during all technical rehearsals and performances.
Interns for Scenic Construction, Paint, Costume Shop & Sound Engineer
Work with professional Theatrical Designers & Painters. Full or part time: Times and dates flexible.
Wardrobe Supervisor
Work with the Costume Shop Supervisor, Stage Manager and cast to ensure costumes are cleaned after performances, costume repairs are attended to and communicated to the shop. This is a fairly solo position.
Light Board Operator / Electrician
Specific times vary depending on production schedule. ETC programming, hanging and focusing experience required. Operation of Lighting Board during all technical rehearsals, performances and installation and strike of lighting equipment.
Assistant Props Artisan
Offered via Cabrillo College Theater Arts Class (TA 27)
Student registration required (2-3 units per course). Scholarships available for all listed below
