MEMORIAL FOR THE FOUNDER OF CABRILLO STAGE
LILE O. CRUSE
On October 28, 2018, performers and musicians gathered from across the country to pay tribute to the beloved maestro, Lile O. Cruse. Lile was a jazz musician, Band Director, Chair of the Performing Arts Division at Cabrillo College, and Founding Producing Artistic Director of Cabrillo Stage.

We revisit our heart breaking production of The Last 5 Years by Jason Robert Brown. Andrew Ceglio talks about the emotional challenges of playing Jamie and the joy of working with his talented co-star Ariel Buck as Cathy. Musical Director, Michael J. McGushin discuss the beautiful music and the directorial approach of less is more.
